Questions?
We have answers

How do I know which trail ride is right for me?

Each calendar listing includes details about pace, terrain, and overall expectations. If a ride is labeled as forward-moving, longer, or more demanding, it’s best suited for riders who are comfortable staying balanced, engaged, and present in the saddle. If you’re unsure, choose a local trail ride or reach out before booking—we’d rather help you find the right fit than rush the decision.

Are all trail rides beginner-friendly?

No. Some rides are designed specifically for riders with prior experience and confidence at the walk and trot, especially on varied terrain. Our horses are responsive and forward, and not every ride is meant to be a passive or introductory experience. Beginner-appropriate rides will be clearly noted on the calendar.

Why do some rides have limited spots or availability?

We limit group size intentionally to protect horse welfare and maintain the quality of the ride. Horses rotate through work, rest, and conditioning, and not every horse is scheduled every day. Smaller groups also allow for better pacing, safer riding, and a more meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Do rides ever change or get rescheduled?

Yes, occasionally. Trail conditions, weather, tides (for beach rides), and horse readiness all factor into our scheduling. If a ride needs to be adjusted or rescheduled, we’ll communicate as early as possible. We prioritize doing the ride well over doing it no matter what.

What’s the difference between a one-time ride and a membership ride on the calendar?

One-time rides are standalone experiences, while membership rides are part of a recurring riding program focused on consistency and progression. Membership riders typically have access to more frequent rides, priority scheduling, and longer or specialty outings that aren’t always available to the general public.Because our experiences involve horses, staff, and carefully planned logistics, we require advance notice for cancellations or changes. Cancellations made with sufficient notice may be eligible for rescheduling or credit toward a future ride, depending on the experience. Late cancellations and no-shows may be non-refundable.

About Our Rides

What’s Coming Up

Our calendar reflects real life at the ranch—not a fixed menu of guaranteed experiences. Rides, outings, and events are scheduled based on horse readiness, conditions, and the kind of experience we want to offer well. Availability may shift as seasons change, trails open or close, and horses rotate through work and rest. What you see here is what’s truly available right now.

Types of Experiences You’ll See

The calendar includes a range of riding opportunities designed for different levels of commitment and experience, including regular local trail rides, membership rides and recurring saddle time, beach rides, longer or more demanding trail adventures. Each listing includes details so you can choose what genuinely fits—not just what looks appealing.

Our horses are forward-moving, attentive, and responsive, and the experiences listed here are best suited for riders who are comfortable staying present, balanced, and engaged. You don’t need to be perfect—but you do need to be willing to ride with intention and responsibility.

How to Prepare for an Upcoming Ride

Before booking, take a moment to consider:
* Your current riding comfort and physical readiness
* The terrain, pace, and duration listed in the event
* Weather and environmental conditions
Preparation helps create better rides—for you, the group, and the horses.

Why Availability Is Limited

We intentionally keep ride sizes small and schedules thoughtful. Horses are rotated carefully, days off matter, and not every experience is offered every week. Limited availability isn’t about exclusivity—it’s about quality, sustainability, and respect for the horses doing the work.

Don’t See What You’re Looking For?

The calendar is updated regularly, and not every opportunity appears far in advance. If you’re looking for more consistency, deeper access, or something beyond a one-time ride, membership may be the best fit. And if you’re unsure what’s right for you, we’re always happy to help you find the right alignment.
