Strict No-Refund Policy

Because our experiences involve live animals, limited availability, and extensive preparation, we operate under a strict no-refund policy.  

No Refunds — No Exceptions

All bookings with Second Chance Ranch are final and non-refundable.Once a reservation is made, we immediately reserve a specific horse, limit availability for other guests, schedule staff, and prepare equipment, transportation, and logistics. For these reasons, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

* Changes in personal plans
* Illness or injury
*.Weather preferences
* Travel delays
* Late arrivals
* No-shows

No Rescheduling Policy - All Bookings Final

Due to the nature of our guided rides and limited daily availability, each reservation is carefully scheduled with dedicated horses and staff for your specific date and time.

For this reason, all bookings are final and we are unable to offer rescheduling once a reservation has been confirmed.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled ride, the booking will be considered a missed appointment and is non-refundable. We encourage all guests to double-check their availability before confirming their reservation to ensure they are able to join us as planned.

We truly appreciate your understanding, as this policy helps us provide a safe, well-organized experience for every guest on the schedule.

Groupon Reservation Policy

We require your Groupon voucher redemption code in order to officially secure and hold your reservation. Placing a booking with us does not guarantee your time slot until the voucher code has been provided and confirmed.

Due to limited availability and high demand, your selected time will be held for 24 hours from the time of scheduling. If we do not receive your voucher redemption code within that 24-hour period, the reservation will be released and made available to other guests.

Submission of your voucher code confirms your booking and acknowledges that all reservations are final. We do not offer rescheduling once a ride has been confirmed, so we kindly ask that you ensure your selected date and time work for your schedule before providing your voucher.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing you with a safe and memorable experience.

Late Arrivals

Guests who arrive late may miss required safety briefings or horse matching and may not be able to participate.

Late arrivals are considered a no-show if participation is not possible and are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

No-Shows

A no-show occurs when a guest fails to arrive for their scheduled experience.

No-shows include, but are not limited to:

* Failure to arrive at the scheduled check-in time
* Missing required safety briefings
* Arriving after the group has departed
* Choosing not to participate upon arrival

Guests who are considered no-shows:

* Forfeit the full booking amount
* Are not eligible for refunds
* Are not eligible for rescheduling or credits

No-shows place unnecessary strain on our horses, prevent other guests from booking those spaces, and disrupt carefully planned operations.

Weather Policy

Experiences operate in most weather conditions deemed safe for horses and riders.

* Light rain, wind, cloud cover, or cooler temperatures do not qualify for refunds
* Weather preferences do not qualify for cancellations or rescheduling

If Second Chance Ranch cancels an experience due to unsafe conditions, trail closures, or horse welfare concerns, guests will be offered a reschedule or credit valid for 90 days. Cash refunds are not issued.

All weather-related decisions are made solely at the discretion of Second Chance Ranch with safety and horse welfare as the priority.

Horse Welfare & Safety

All experiences are subject to horse health, soundness, and welfare. Second Chance Ranch reserves the right to modify or cancel any experience at any time to protect horse welfare or guest safety.

In such cases, guests will receive a reschedule or credit only. No refunds will be issued.

Payment & Chargeback Policy

By completing a booking, you authorize Second Chance Ranch to charge your selected payment method for the full booking amount. You agree not to dispute or charge back the transaction for reasons related to cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, weather preferences, or personal circumstances.

Agreement to Policy

By booking an experience with Second Chance Ranch, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy in full. Participation involves inherent risk, and all guests assume full responsibility for their participation.
