Because our experiences involve live animals, limited availability, and extensive preparation, we operate under a strict no-refund policy.
All bookings with Second Chance Ranch are final and non-refundable.Once a reservation is made, we immediately reserve a specific horse, limit availability for other guests, schedule staff, and prepare equipment, transportation, and logistics. For these reasons, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
* Changes in personal plans
* Illness or injury
*.Weather preferences
* Travel delays
* Late arrivals
* No-shows
We are happy to offer one (1) complimentary reschedule under the following conditions:
* Reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time
* Rescheduling is subject to availability
* The rescheduled experience must occur within 90 days of the original booking date
* Each booking may be rescheduled one time only
Requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are not eligible for rescheduling and will be treated as a cancellation with no refund.
Guests who arrive late may miss required safety briefings or horse matching and may not be able to participate.
Late arrivals are considered a no-show if participation is not possible and are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
A no-show occurs when a guest fails to arrive for their scheduled experience without providing at least 24 hours’ notice, or arrives too late to safely participate.
No-shows include, but are not limited to:
* Failure to arrive at the scheduled check-in time
* Missing required safety briefings
* Arriving after the group has departed
* Choosing not to participate upon arrival
Guests who are considered no-shows:
* Forfeit the full booking amount
* Are not eligible for refunds
* Are not eligible for rescheduling or credits
No-shows place unnecessary strain on our horses, prevent other guests from booking those spaces, and disrupt carefully planned operations.
Experiences operate in most weather conditions deemed safe for horses and riders.
* Light rain, wind, cloud cover, or cooler temperatures do not qualify for refunds
* Weather preferences do not qualify for cancellations or rescheduling
If Second Chance Ranch cancels an experience due to unsafe conditions, trail closures, or horse welfare concerns, guests will be offered a reschedule or credit valid for 90 days. Cash refunds are not issued.
All weather-related decisions are made solely at the discretion of Second Chance Ranch with safety and horse welfare as the priority.
All experiences are subject to horse health, soundness, and welfare. Second Chance Ranch reserves the right to modify or cancel any experience at any time to protect horse welfare or guest safety.
In such cases, guests will receive a reschedule or credit only. No refunds will be issued.
By completing a booking, you authorize Second Chance Ranch to charge your selected payment method for the full booking amount. You agree not to dispute or charge back the transaction for reasons related to cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, weather preferences, or personal circumstances.
By booking an experience with Second Chance Ranch, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy in full. Participation involves inherent risk, and all guests assume full responsibility for their participation.
